GENETIC DISORDER PROJECT – Due Friday March 14

Research your genetic disorder, and prepare a 1-page report detailing the following:

**Report should be typed and double-spaced - no more than 12-point font: Arial or Times New Roman. Use regular margins.

** Attach at least one picture to the back of your report – picture does not count toward your 1-page requirement.

** List all works cited in MLA format. (Wikipedia does not count!)

Who – Does it affect? (genders, age groups, ethnicities, etc.)

What – Are the symptoms?

When – Does it begin to affect them? (babies, mid life, old age, etc)

Where – Can people get help with it? (Is there any treatment or prevention)

Why – Does it occur? (At the chromosome level)

How – Do people get it? (Inherited / Environmental…or both)
